2016 Scholarship Awards Luncheon and Quilt Raffle News

The 2016 Scholarship Luncheon on May 19th was a lovely celebration to honor 35 outstanding graduates and their guests. The students introduced themselves, shared their educational goals and aspirations, and thanked all who have supported them through their school days and continue to do so as they begin college life.

Scholarships were awarded to at least one student in every WCCUSD high school and alternative high school – a very proud moment for the West Contra Costa Retired Educators!

Congratulations to these 35 outstanding seniors who are now counted among the 550 students who have received scholarships since the first award was given in 1977. We wish them all the best as they begin their college experience. Click here to see the list of scholarship awardees and click here to see the awards program.
